Arthur Lieber is a self-described introvert who loves politics, but not the circus part of it. He wants his politics to be thoughtful and focused on “moving the rock up the hill,” i.e. us becoming a better society, one year at a time, one3 decade at a time, one generation at a time. In 1974, he co-founded Crossroads School in St. Louis and in 1992 co-founded Civitas, an educational non-profit.
In 2010 and 2014, Arthur ran for Congress from Missouri’s Second District. He did not win, but felt that he never did anything to embarrass himself and may have opened some minds to the ideas advocated in the Political Introverts book.
